The Gathering of the North - May 2025

As part of our desire to grow our team at both Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels, we took a group of newer fighters to Sherwood Forest on the 24th May to compete for the Robin Hood Tier 2 Trophy at the Gathering of the North.

Steve Hegarty, Matt How, Andrew Jansen Van Vuuren, Morgan Wells and Andrew Wigley fought like lions for the team, and to sum it up? We crushed it, winning nearly all of our rounds of Buhurt - other than the 1 timed-out draw.

In the dueling disciplines, we won 9/10 duels.

Matt How nominated to carry the weight of the trophy by his teammates, after being in a 2-on-1 position, and showing the heart to push through it for the team.
