This event saw 15 teams of “newbies” come together for a 2 day event.
First day was duelling, where each member of the team entered a separate category.
With the 2nd day all members teaming up in the group fights.
We saw teams from all over the UK as well as Ireland and Belgium descend for this highly important event that sees a fighter test their training against others with similar experience.
This event is very well thought of within the sport with the start of tier 2 league being built around its success.
On top of that we have some amazing sponsorship that sent us so awesome prizes
Here are those generous donors
Buhurt Tech - Teamed Meat Grinder.
Medieval Extreme - most valuable fighter and sword and buckler
Alba Buhurt co - sword and shield and making sure every fighter left with a personalised attendance pin.
Aleksey Perebeynos - Polearm goodies
Mad Ax - Longsword.
Invicta had 20 warriors across 5 teams enter, many saw the event last year at Loxwood and realised they wanted to do just what the previous year’s athletes were doing. With the benefits of a big club we matched our teams for comparable capabilities whilst trying to keep them close geographically to aid in their ability to train together. This paid off and the results showed through. The top 5 places from the 15 teams that entered all went to the Invicta teams. I was extremely proud of my team. They had worked hard for their wins and it’ll see them well going into either other Tier 2 tournaments or for some into the Main League 1 team Invicta has.
Strength and Honour
